Tasty beef bone soup coupled with kimchi and rice. I added some salt to the soup which tasted plain at first. The beef was very good though. I also liked their cold noodles and the seafood pancake.
Friendly staff and attentive service. We went on a Friday evening and were able to be seated immediately.
A free parking lot was available around and behind the restaurant.

The beef bone broth soup was flavorful. I ordered cold buckwheat noodles, galbi tang, and sautéed beef tripe—all excellent dishes, complemented by a clean interior and polite service. Overall, a pleasant dining experience, and I look forward to returning to try other dishes. Bone broth is not easy to prepare, and many restaurants cut corners over time, compromising flavor and quality. I truly hope they continue to maintain their standards.
A thoughtful touch: they serve bottled water free of charge instead of tap water. Small details like this make a difference.

Coming from LA where Korean food is some of the best in the US, this location is certainly comparable. Possibly the best in the area. Ordered the seolleongtang: clean white bone broth and tender slices of brisket.
The atmosphere was casual and cozy. The service cordial and especially polite.

This restaurant is easily one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area! My favorite item to order here is their galbijjim. Currently priced at $59.99, it is very reasonable considering the high quality and large number of short rib chunks (8 last time I counted). In addition, their seafood pancake is amazing- perfectly crispy on the edges with lots of seafood! Their soullangtang, yukgaejang, and haejangguk are also very delicious. You can definitely tell that they take pride in their food when even their kimchi is well done! In general, you can't go wrong with ordering anything off the menu.

I tried the galbitang (beef short rib soup) and suyuk at Sinchon Seolleongtang in Annandale.
The suyuk was quite different from the traditional version — more like a Chinese-style stir-fry with lots of garlic and onions, which made it hard to taste the natural flavor of the meat. Still, the texture was tender and not tough.
The galbitang came with a generous portion and tender beef, but there was a unique aroma that I don’t usually associate with galbitang.
Side dishes were only kimchi and kkakdugi — both tasty but a bit minimal.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a traditional Korean flavor.

If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food — the kind that warms you from the inside out — Shin Chon Sul Lung Tang is a solid spot. It’s a no-frills, home-style Korean restaurant specializing in sul lung tang (ox bone soup), and it delivers exactly what you’d hope for: rich broth, simple sides, and that comforting “just like home” flavor.
What I liked
1. Deep, milky broth: The signature sul lung tang comes with a beautifully cloudy, slow-simmered beef bone broth that’s rich but not greasy. You can tell it’s been boiled for hours.
2. Classic Korean flavor: It’s served traditionally — lightly seasoned so you can adjust to your own taste with salt, pepper, and chopped green onions.
3. Generous portions: The bowls are big and filling, perfect for a cold day or when you want a hearty meal.

This cozy Korean comfort food restaurant specializes in authentic Sullungtang and other bone broth-based soups, carefully prepared by boiling for many hours to extract the best flavors and nutrients. The dishes are delicious, and the Korean traditional Galbi Jjim (Braised Short Ribs) deserves a thumbs up; while it's a bit pricey, it is well worth the cost.
Most of the staff are experienced aunties, and they are friendly. Although the decoration is minimal, it still conveys the essence of a traditional Korean Sullungtang restaurant.

I'm the type of person that can eat soup all year round so I was thrilled when my cousin suggested this restaurant! All 5 of us got a different type of soup. I was the only one that got a cold noodle soup. The cold soups do not come with rice. Be aware. Everything was amazing and fairly priced. They are known for their bone broths so order accordingly!

Actually the bone marrow soup tasted good when I was eating. The meat wasn’t given enough. Go to Koyhang restaurant and compare. You will know what I mean. Kimchi was good but after 30 minutes I had bad diarrhea. I usually have no problem with this food in my life. I ate bean cold noodle at this restaurant before and I didn’t get sick. I feel that the soup had something nasty in it. Are you guys ok after eating bone marrow soup? I won’t eat here again.

Service is very nice and interior is clean and new. Their bibim nangmyeon (spicy cold noodle) is good—noodles are bouncy and sauce is flavorful.
